Cover Shot!

Hi everyone,

Well, the first semester of photography school has been keeping me pretty busy, but finals are next week followed by a month off. That doesn't mean that things are going to slow down, as I am shooting Christmas On Main on Dec 13, SOO steamer 1003 in Wisconsin on Dec 14 & 15, Wisconsin Southern on Dec 16, and I hopefully will be chasing CN train M338 all the way out to northern Illinois and then heading down to Savanna to see the ICE. There are plans for three portrait shoots over Christmas Break (3rd shoot with CJ, 2nd shoot with Haley, and 1st shoot with Lisa) as well as a couple of days shooting IANR in the snow for work.

However, the big news is the week before Christmas. The Rock Island historical society wants to use my photos from La Port City [link] and [link] as well as have me shoot for an article that will appear in their January issue...including my first cover photo!

I hope you guys have happy and safe holidays, I gotta get back to studying.

I'm alright bud, thanks for asking. School is keeping me very busy! How about you? I'm hoping to be up your way sometime the week of March 16th, but I haven't had a job since Christmas so I don't know if it will happen.

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, things are bad around here too. I'm trying for a new job with lawn care. Hope that works out, although I'm sure not many are just that worried about how their lawn looks when their bank account and job place are emptying out. Hopefully you could make it here, but if not, hope things pick up for you on the homestead. :handshake:
